Kenya with World Pulse

Kenya sings to my soul! The people here are warm, dignified, welcoming. I love the drumbeat of the dreams that arise from the ground here as the country moves forward with a new constitution. It is wonderful to meet other Pulsewire members here. Great things happen when women move mountains together.

We've had lots of meetings with many leaders. Our schedules are pretty tight so not lots of time for posting updates. Basically I sense an eagerness in everybody's hearts to learn how we can form new partnerships together. We all have much to learn from each other. I am learning here the power of community! In the United States so often there is the extreme focus on the individual and we've lost some of the magic that happens when people dream and work collectively.

Also my new friends here in Kenya are amazing storytellers. I could sit and listen for days.
Thank you for all you share.

Love,
Maura

p.s. we are en route to Rwanda this evening. Woo hoo!
