Be Happy for Me

This Chinese New Year (February 3, 2011) for me is a revelation. My mama and I had a heart-to-heart talk and finally she gave her blessings for me to get marry. I am overwhelmed of the situation. Practically, my mama wants to get married in January 2012. Yes, I know that soon. Also, I know that this is hard times to get married and that I am a wedding planner. It takes time to plan a wedding.
I am not getting any younger. There are pressures for me to get married soon and have a baby. But first things first. I have to marry my boyfriend Raffy. Everything happens for a reason and that everything will be alright.
I decided to think things out and that I have to really have a date myself. I went to Hap Chan where I could have a nice pot of tea and radish cake. Hap Chan is really one of the Chinese authentic restaurant that I ever been through.
Sorry for my friends that I have close family to attend and be witness to my wedding soon. I know that this wedding is not that spectacular and grand. I like small and simple wedding where my close family can be witness. Besides, I am that old enough nearly going 40. It is a church wedding and the reception is just a restaurant for 50 pax. Raffy has a big family and I have my Bautista side from my mother's. Hoping that my friends will understand. Kindly be happy for me. At last, I am getting married soon. Thank you.
