Dedicated to the gods, abused by men

Have you heard of devadasi? I hadn't until very recently and the more I learn about it the more I am horrified. A corrupted ancient custom is meaning women in southern India - up to 50,000 no less - are being abused and trafficked.
I've written a post on it on my blog here so please do have a read and get in touch, I really want to know your thoughts and your comments.

Read more on devadasi here and sign the petition, raise awareness and spread the word.
