Dedicated to the gods, abused by men

Have you heard of devadasi? I hadn't until very recently and the more I learn about it the more I am horrified. A corrupted ancient custom is meaning women in southern India - up to 50,000 no less - are being abused and trafficked.

I visited Bangalore in 2010, May and met with some beautiful Devadasi girls and I became meber of their family too, I became A Dalit by choice.
