Miracles (Let it go and it comes back to you)
I had never Flown out of the country and when opportunity presented itself...you are right, I wanted it.
I realy wanted to be on a plane because it was an experience that I had long wished for and it was me who
had to make the choice of who was to attend the training in South Africa. No one would realy complain if I chose to go, it was an understanding that was not discussed but assumed to be so.
I took time to think through the issues. I later decided that a field officer would go!Surprised as he was, he was excited!
They made all the arrangements to go and booked their flights...but a month before they left came the shock of my life.
One of our donors, African Women Development Fund, sent in a Letter to say there was a trip to South Africa! and with this one, there was no need of making a decision because it was clear who was supposed to go - me!
Whats more, I was allowed to go with my 5 months Old baby, everything paid for and in a more better plane than what my collegues would use inclusive of this I was staying in the Crown Plaza! Imagine that!!
Yes, you are correct, I was as happy as a child who just received the present they have been wishing for. And what was more ironic, the dates of the two trips were in the same week.
So tell me...Whats not a Miracle about that!
I let it go and it came right back!!!

I love this! You so thoughtfully allowed someone else this wonderful opportunity and then the world conspired to reward you for your great kindness. What a cycle of good karma! And to be able to share this fortune with your baby - I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing this story!

Opportunities
Sharo,
From your story I hear your ability to give and accept. You willingly handed an opportunity to a colleague with a quick reply from the world that an even sweeter offer was on hand.
A big wide world we share - you have an open spirit, heart, and mind to accept, explore, and relish!
What a gift.
Thanks for sharing your story!

To share i know is something
To share i know is something difficult to learn and give in completely especially when you know that when you give you shall remain with nothing. But you know what...it is a trait that i have come to see often in women. They have learned to love selflessly.
Thankyou for the compliment Laura.
Warm regards,
I know it's true
Sharo,
I see that trait in women as well. I guess if you give selflessly, you expect nothing in return. I see that in my mom a lot.
Great to think about selfless giving.
Good to chat.
