2011 is THE YEAR!

latka_suzanne_basia.jpgAs 2011 began, I vowed, not resolved, to take my goals more seriously. Yes, I've often vowed to find a way to help women internationally, but this year I am genuinely inspired to do it.
On Nov. 3, 2010, I donated my kidney to a stranger. It came about five years after I heard "the voice," a voice that was an answer to my prayer to God to give me a reason to live. I've documented this at www.giftoflifeblog.com.
However, this is behind me and now I'm determined to be open to opportunities to fulfill my goal. So I'm asking this community if you have any suggestions to put me on this path.

I am overwhelmed by your kind commitment! Thanks so much for being here with us. I have a suggestion: Start browsing member´s journals, so that you can relate to some of them more personally, then ask them to be your friends and follow up on their activities.
Many people will never tell you they need something, but if you become their friend, you will soon find out what their needs are and you could help them.
Most of the time we are very shy to say what we need, and many other times we don´t know what we need exactly, buy someone like you, eager to find ways to help, can provide ways to figure that out.
