What is in my mind !!!

To do my master in Public and tropical health, is the challenge of this year-2011-, realy I hope to do it for many many reasons, first of all I want to gain more to increase my experiences and work hard to build up my future as medical doctor. Then, I hope that by this study I can be able to enhance the community awareness among health issues, specialy in tropical areas.
According to my previous work in Darfur, I found that the main health problem in the area is health ignorance, people there not known even simple things about health,,,, how and what to eat,,, to wash their hands, to keep their deliveries safe,,, and soooo many, one of my dreams to change the life of our women in the rural areas to make them able to protect themselves against poverty and sickness, and to give their children a chance to grow better.
I know that it is a little bit difficult to change people attitudes, but this not mean not to try.

Congratulations!

Dear Dr. Sulafa,

I wish you much luck in your new endeavor and know that you have a community of support here on PulseWire to cheer you on.

I invite you to raise your voice with the PulseWire community by writing a letter to UN Women Executive Director Michelle Bachelet outlining your recommendation for how this new UN agency can truly affect change on the ground to promote gender equality and uphold the rights and needs of women both on a local and global scale. What should their priorities be? What are the real issues you and women in your community face on the ground? What is your hope for what UN Women can accomplish in the coming years?
