UN Women:You Are the Last Hope for Preserving Our Dignity
Dearest UN Women and Executive Director Michelle Bachelet:
I feel so pleased, hopeful, and privileged to have this opportunity to represent the Afghan women's voice and other women's tone through a window of light, Worldpulse, toward you all. I am also blissful and hopeful for this letter that I am writing for you all, this will show up the life of living beings on our earth planet. So, I hope that it will make an mpact on our, Women, lives on the every corner of inky earth. Thanks
You are our last hope for a change in women’s lives not only in Afghanistan but in the Western countries as well.
I had believed that we, women, are discriminated in every corner of the world, and now it is UN Women’s turn to investigate that why is that so?
I have pasted only 20 springs of my life in the season of my being, and I have seen and experienced every kind of dejected events around my eyes. So, I am exhausted to see, be, and spend the rest of springs in this kind of situations. Please help us to change at least the situation around us.
I have seen that women in Afghanistan kill themselves by fire and cutting the strings from their lives in the wilderness for being miserable mothers, wives, daughters, or sisters for not having a bright present lives. It is now your time to take the step and talk to them for not escaping from the futures and to live for their family and a daughter like me, who is trying to change their lives in a long duration being far away from them. Please, let them know that there is still a hope for their future lives, and tell them that UN Women are going to take their hands and lead them to the at ease lives.
Today, on every headline and all articles in the newsletters, newspapers, websites, and magazines narrate about women’s misery situation from every corner of the earth planet.
As an Afghan woman, this time I am not going to describe women’s depressed position under the sky of Afghanistan, but to let you all know that what you and I can do to change the situation in Afghanistan.
Through this piece of writing in the World pulse, I am notifying the truth of us, women, in present lives.
Only women know that both men and women are the creatures, who are living between the two vibrant surfaces under our feet and up high on our heads. Both of us are breathing inside a confessed can, which is made of gases and tangible things around us. Now, let the men members know it as well, enlighten everyone nearby you and let them feel it and then tell it to all individuals around the world, that we are not different, men and women, are born with their own skills.
Today, every woman around the world feel the same that they are suppressed, not matter if she is Christine from USA or a European Catholic, if she is Hindu from the land of Hindustan “India”, or a Muslim from the ground of Asia, or an Afghan woman who is living under the sun and sky of Old Afghanistan, or a converted woman from her faith to another. Why is that so?
It is because we do not have anyone to talk to or to listen to. Now that UN Women are nearby us, so we believe that in the future lives under the same blue sky, in the shade of golden sun and silvered golden moon, among the twinkling and singing stars, beside the quiet and stiff mountains, near to dancing and curvy oceans, and amongst the colorful flowers under the feather of soft and multicolored butterflies, we will not say that I am a depressed Afghan woman, or I am a miserable mother, sister, daughter, bride, or wife. So on behave of all women around the world I would like to convey a message to all women around the world that be proud of yourselves for being the preserver of future lives, even if you are oppressed Afghan woman. We are on the way to talk about you and listen from the UN Women about it.
Also, around the globe there are our Muslim sisters, who believe that the veil, Hijab, the piece of cloth on their heads is their dignity. They know that the Hijab does make difference between her freedom and others’ freedom who do not wear it, but still they wear it. They have inner peace, if these women feel peace for covering their body. So, I honestly recommend their full freedom on wearing their Hijab for keeping their peace. We are women, so we have to think about these women’s dignity and self esteem as well. If it is not possible, thus Lets All recommend to All Women Around the World to Wear Hijab for A Day to Show Our Unity and Care for Each other.
Today the young girls are completely censored from the actual activities of life around the world, if in Afghanistan because of their conservative communities, but in USA or other developed or emerged countries they are dead inside for their being as women, who are the processor of men’s desires, and the once who lose their self esteem for not getting the respect from the opposite gender. Thus, I recommend this voice to reach to all women that each young girl in the present life is the future. They should not suffer from AIDs, Cancers, or any psychic problems. They should be protected by their own family members or by the government. I know that today’s young girls do not listen to us. They believe that they are free, and they have choices to do whatever they want to do. But also there should be a role model for these young girls to whom they listen and talk to and go to the used paths. So I think that UN Women is the best path toward change in their lives, if they consider these young girl’s present lives the future lives on the earth.
Thanks for accepting our voices beside your first walks for a free violence wilderness for women, thanks for going on the path of truthiness and consciousness for creating the real path of walking for me, you, and other women, and thanks for listening to Afghan women’s voices through a woman’s tone.
