The Right to Live: Abandoned Babies and Fetus

Philippine Orphanage

Recently in the local news here in the Philippines, there are reports that the abandonment of babies and fetus in the church, in the streets and in the public airports particularly in the international airports and international planes. I have featured before the abandonment of Baby George Francis entitled, Being Abandoned (September 25, 2010).

I cannot judge people of their actions and consequences. I have a heart on babies especially with regards about life itself. Yes, it is a tough decision. Living in the Philippines as a third world country and having crisis is a different story. However, we could still change and try to live life as simple by changing our lifestyle. Knowing that a fetus or a baby that has a life and that they have rights in order to live.

There are institutions and the proper way to make a baby for adoption. To end a life is a crime in the eyes of men and the eyes of God. Rather than killing a life because the parents or particularly the mother of the child cannot face society as a single mother or in this crisis, there is an option for adoption.

Women are not aware of such procedure and the location of the institutions. There are orphanages or unwed mothers shelters. Better yet, please see the websites for more information as follows:

Sometimes, we need to educate women of such information. Thank you.

Good job

Flores,
That is a good job, educating women in your country about parenting! You are a powerful voice to those children both in local communities and at the national and international level.
Keep up.

I believe everybody has the potential to live a better life. Given the Opportunity, Education and Motivation ANYONE can become someone admirable. Nobody is a NOBODY, everybody is SOMEBODY.
