Comments

As a young girl growing up in a traditional Nigerian society ,I didnot bother so much about the place of the women in the traditional african society. After I got married ,I realised that a woman is seen as a visitor and second class citizen by her inlaws. My eyes began to open to the prejudice of the typical African society towards women.I have the feeling that with education and civilisation such prejudices ought to have vanished.I am not an advocate of equality with men as I am an ardent Christian, but in this century it is still unbelievable that some people feel that a woman ought to be seen and not heard.what do you think about this women authors.?
