"What inspired you to "go for it!" and join the journey to East Africa?"

From Karambu:
"The best way to know myself and others is by putting myself out there; willing to launch into the unknown; being open to what is out there; and KNOWING I AM taken care of in whatever situation I find myself in, as others are too. Together we co-create the world we want to see and BE."

From Renee:
"Visiting Africa has been a lifelong dream and inspiring women is a current heart mission. I am so blessed that Africa is part of my 2011 journey to love, laugh and learn, while living my best life."

From Kathryn R:
"I learned so much from the World Pulse journey in Cambodia and am interested in what
can be done in the world so that we live and learn together well."

From Jensine:
"I believe that this journey will be one of the most pivotal experiences defining my life up until now – but also the future of World Pulse. You will be on the frontlines, shaping your own leadership, as well as World Pulse’s role as a pioneer and innovator bringing voice to some of the most unheard women in the world."

From Leah:
"World Pulse has been my platform—and consultant—my home of refuge, and resource. Now at home—how could i miss out?"

I am inspired to participate with the World Pulse delegation to East Africa because I whole-heartedly believe in the mission of World Pulse and cannot imagine a more fulfilling way to journey to Africa for my first time. In addition, as I write a book a restorative leadership and women in sustainability, I know that it is critical that I evolve my own understanding of sustainability by exposure to the continent that is on the front lines of the issues.

Blessings for all the best of life, Seana

I've been a fan of World

I've been a fan of World Pulse for many years. This past Autumn, I became involved with the Voices of the Future citizen journalism project. I am mentoring a young woman from Saudi Arabia. It has meant so much to "hear" her amazingly strong voice in the stories she posts. Now, on this trip, I am honored to travel to a part of the World that has always been in my dreams -- and to hear the voices of women crusading for change. I know the amount of illumination and inspiration will be beyond measure. I'm also interested in what it takes for people to take "that extra step" to build new bridges of the heart across time-space-continents. The future is calling.
