Introducing myself and my journal: A little bit of destiny, and a whole lot of strategy...

About Me:
I'm on a journey, like all souls born on this planet... I have had the good fortune of many expansive and eye-opening experiences in my short life time. And for that, I am utterly grateful. Born on a small farm in the mid-west to a rock'n roll father and a hard working, open and extremely resilient mother, it was very clear that my life would be nothing short of adventurous. I grew up with three very lovely and uniquely different strong sisters.

Throughout my life I have developed a knack for assessing my resources and forging new methods of doing and being. Sickened by the broken American public schooling system, I desperately looked for another way to be educated. Together, myself, friends, and a small network of mentors developed a small progressive pilot program resembling much of the structure of "free-schooling". We called it Amérris Highschool, which in French translates "to a light or illuminate". Here I asked myself to dive in and discover what has now become a fine-tuned, uncontrollable curiosity about life and all that it contains....

Four years later I was excepted to Antioch College, former institution of Coretta Scot King. I wasn't sure if higher education was right for me prior to my discovery of Antioch, but soon realized that this was in fact exactly where I needed to be.

(to be continued)

My Passions:
white water/ river kayaking, hiking, camping, painting, mixed media art, communications, production, graphic development, beats, farming, videography, little people, drawing... to name a few

My Challenges:
focusing my interests.

My Vision for the Future:
I would like to see global access to media resources as a means to create unity, understanding, and harbor innovateive solutions which can be carried though grassroots movement.

My Areas of Expertise:
communications- press, print, campaign developement, production, graphics, editing. Organizing- people, gatherings.
