Hello Everybody!

Here i come, am back on line. I want to announce to everyone about my presence after a traumatic time at the hospital. On the 30th October in evening i was walking along the road, street lights were on but to my shock i was stung by a black scorpion on my left foot just on the inside of my foot.

Hey guys i suffered hells toment. That thing immediately it stung me i fell on the ground, there was a bar next to the incident area.I was jumping up and down with my leg up on the air.So these guys came for my aid. They tied my leg to stop the poison from going up into my body.I was still screaming and they rushed me to the hospital. When i got there thank God there were no people on the line, anyway it was emergency,i was attended to immediately giving me four injection but they untied my leg, oh my my God the pain started to spread all over the body and i could feel it going up to the top, harrassing all my body systems.I was so shocked to encounter such a terrible pain.

I was admitted same night. After something like 30minutes, hey! now the pain started to rekindle itself again. Now i tell you i was mad. That was agony, i coudlnt sleep, sit, stand or i didnt know what to do, i was helpless.I called upon the nurse to call the doctor,it looked like her ears were deaf, though still in that pain i persisted i didnt scream,i was groaning in deep pain.I now started screaming when she was ignoring me,nobody slept that night from children s ward to matenity ward and they approached me to kip quite the more they fuelled me, i told them to bring the doctor, who they told me he was coming, for so many hours he was said to be coming, i was annoyed beyond,so they devised to give me an injection,i slept unknownly. When i woke up in the morning it was pain all over.I could see,i coudnt walk, urinate or do anything i was shaking like a made horse my world was black supplemented with pain.

All christians heared about my story, 1 oclock they came to pray for me.And indeed it was a shock, the way they came to check on was ovewhelming. one could tell that it was so serious.I just want to thank God for saving me.And again i didnt have an opportunity to celebrate with other correspondents when they were announced.I thank God for allowing me or giving me another chance to hook up with my community in world Pulse. And i want to say C O N G R A D U L A T I O N S to all my beloved fellow correspondents, to all midwifes and mentors including mr beckbeck and Rachel my love.

However am now back online, free from that pain.Back to work in my office.Thank you folks for remebring me.I love you all.

Sending love!

I am so relieved to hear that you are okay, and now free from pain and back to work. What a scary, painful and dreadful experience you went through! I cannot imagine what horrible kind of pain a black scorpion could cause - something that many do not have to fear in this world. I am so thankful that there were kind men to help you, take you to the hospital, and a wonderful, supportive community to pray for you during your painful recovery.

We are so excited and honored to have you among the 30 VOF correspondents, embarking on this powerful journey together, and we are eager to learn more about you and about issues and life in Botswana.

In friendship, peace and love,

Your ordeal

Dear Warona:
YOu have come through a terrible experience and I am so relieved that you managed through it. The pain sounds like it was terrible, and now I know why the bite of a scorpion is so feared. Welcome back to being yourself again, and may this never happen again to you.
I am also welcoming you to WorldPulse as a correspondent and hoping that your experience will be exciting, strengthening, and filled with opportunities to move closer to your goals.
I wish you good luck in your work here, and many new friends, and I am so pleased to be mentoring you.
All the best,

Oh my God,Thank you!!!!!!!

My Dearest Natalie

Thank you so much, you are so caring.Am so excited to have you by my side. You are so amazing to me.This world is full of grieving things, toils and snares of this world my God! the pricking things that wants to dwarf somebody 's life.Overwhelming situations that want to take pleasure of our lives and turn our lives into something else. You know as for me the devil is a liar and a looser.I realise if i dont become aggresive nothing takes into shake. So we must take this things by force. And if God is on our side who can be against us.WE ARE NOT PLAYING BUT MOVING MOUNTAINS.................................................Thank you very much coach,am left in awe of your courageous words,am restored and lifted, my soul rejoyceth.Thank you so so much.God bless you.

With great Regards

God is a Good God all the time

Pain! O Pain!! I know about it. I have felt it so many times and I have always overcome it.

I screamed as I read the line "stung by a black scorpion" cos I know the size of scorpions I saw in Ondo state of Nigeria. Very big and black. But I laughed when you talk about pain because I have really had a good experience with pain. As an adolescence I have been biten by a dog, 6yrs ago, I was also biten by a snake. I have undergone major surgery three times and others health challenges. So, I know what you are talking about. It runs all over the body and make life miserable at that time. It's terrible, very terrible. Am happy you are back again and thank you for letting us know what happened to you. you have overcome sister, nothing will happen to you again because you have invited Jesus. He has answered, so keep rejoice and give him thanks. He is an awesome God.

Welcome back as a 2010 VOF Correspondence. We are here for each other.

Cheers babe

Dear Vivian

You are a hero,if really you have gone through that, i really salute you.I dont mean that for people to be heros they have to go through pain. Some they dont have the grace to survive the pain.My dear life sometimes is miserable.Somebody who has never been to such pains knows nothing,as well if you have never slept without food, nothing, not even a single food left on the table in the morning when you wake up.Such people cant team up with soldiers.

Anyway lets team up and fight the battle. However keep prayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May God bless you thrughout the course of the day

With all my love.

I found it!

Hi Warona, I found the link to the online classroom, at last! I guess you missed the link because you stayed in the hospital for so long, courtesy of that deadly little thing called scorpion! It was embedded in the email message sent by Rachael informing us that we were chosen for the 2010 VOF correspondents training. As Rachael said last nigh during the Q&A call, it can be found at the Pulsewire directory. Just press the "Pulsewire" label located on the top (middle column) of the screen, choose "group directory", then look for the "2010 Voices of Our Future Correspondents'. When you press it, you will be staring at everything you need to get going with the training. The links are provided at the bottom of the page, with all the reference materials embedded in the link "... Online Classroom" ... Hope you find my "instructions" in order ...

All the best for all of us ...
