These are pulses, not words

Dearest Kat,

I have always thought that actions speak louder than words, but World Pulse proved to be an exception to this rule.

Your letter is so full of warmth and compassion. I thank you for your kind words that I am sure have crossed continents carrying the beauty of your soul and the warmth of wonderful Alaska. You grew up around lakes and mountains, and I around deserts and oases, yet our stories converge here and our aim remains one: Give back to women their natural role in this life.

I am grateful to World Pulse for it gave me the opportunity to meet amazing women with impressive stories of survival, fervor and courage, and yours is certainly full of these three and much more. I salute the soldier and the fighter in you and I commend the Brownie Girl Scout that made it to being one of the first women in the United States Air Force Academy. Your fight to protect mother earth and conserve the wild life only convinces me that no battle is lost and I am to achieve my dream and goal in this one.

You are a true leader and a great inspiration for me. Under your guidance, I shall strive towards being the woman you are now. Under your care, I shall grow stronger. With your support, my voice shall be louder. With you in my life, I have now a teacher, friend and companion.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Naturally,

Najwa

Hi, Najwa ~ have you read the long email I sent you 1 November? I am your Editorial Midwife for the next few months. I am very excited to be working with you, but I haven't heard back from you yet.

I am in Rabat now until 12 November, then I will be leaving this beautiful country. I'll be traveling for a few days and so it will be hard to keep in touch until I am back in the U.S. on 18 November. Please let me know how you're doing, I hope to hear from you soon!

take care,

Becki

Najwa,

You bless me with greater honor than my own soul can easily accept. It is your voice, loud and clear, which sings the truth of your life lived with a bold hope for a bright future in Morocco. Imagine what changes are coming to be under your daily model of hope, love, and compassion.

Let us find many ways in which to share spirited support. Skype, perhaps? Can we connect this weekend?

Naturally, humbled,
Kat

Waiting for your words to share your story. Trusting that you are well and writing strong sentences, moving paragraphs and compelling cases for support a wide awake dream where all girls in your region know that to learn is one path to freedom.

Naturally grateful,

Hope all is well!

Dear Najwa, Hi! We have not yet met. I'm one of the editorial midwives paired with a VOF correspondant in
Saudi Arabia. I was intrigued with your profile and your desire for education for all women and girls in the Arab world. I have a particular interest in North Africa and the Middle East. I look forward to learning from you. Your profile is powerfully written, displaying a great deal of wisdom and insight. I hope to continue hearing from you!
