Invest in Social Enterprise

Thanks for the opportunity to make our voices heard!

I believe one of the most viable solutions to poverty is enterprise development at the Bottom of the Pyramid. This category includes people whose income is below $3000 and includes about 4 billion of the world's population (according to the World Resources Institute). Further, I believe it is insufficient to tackle economic development without coupling it with social development. It would be wise to invest in small business ideas that will have a meaningful impact on local communities through job creation, social justice, creation of infrastructure, et cetera. To this end, I recommend that the following themes be addressed in the discourse concerning where to invest for sustainable development:

Microfranchise
Social Enterprise
