Amazement...

To my utter amazement, I was able to chat with women in Somalia, Colombia, South Africa and the Ivory Coast today. The marvelous 2010 Correspondents keep making my life better and better! I seriously half-laughed, half-cried today as I introduced these wonderful women to each other over Skype. The power of Web 2.0 to connect women across the globe, is more than apparent to me.
As I continue my journey as the program manager for Voices of Our Future, I am gaining more than professional skills and experience--I am gaining a whole new community of women whose voices inspire me to be a better person, to speak louder, and to continue striving to achieve my vision.

Skype video conferencing for Mac

By the way, Skype's new Beta 5.0 for Mac finally brings the ability to video chat with up to ten Skype contacts. You might want to have Ankur check it out. Can you imagine everyone seeing each other's beautiful face at once?
