One of my favorite poems that I wanted to share with all of you this Friday...
SUCCESS
To laugh often and love much;
to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children;
to earn the approbation of honest citizens
and the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to give of one's self;
to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived...
this is to have succeeded.

Good for Saturday too
You just gave me an idea. This is a good poem and I am going to use this in my card making.
Is the title of the peom "A Leap of Faith". This is suitable for any occassion for anyone. It is just beautiful and brings a smile :-) A feel good poem and anyone who reads will feel like a winner. I did :-)

Glad you enjoyed it! Actually, "A Leap of Faith" is the title to my journal. I just googled the poem to see if I could find the title, and it appears that Emerson didn't actually write it, and that no one is quite clear on who did! But, it has been on a card that has traveled with me across continents, and always makes me smile. :)
