Girls Youth Camp Held

Girls adventure on river nzoia in the cherangany hills

In August, a girls camp was held at the Sengwer Cultural Centre aimed to build the capacity of girls aged 15 to 24 to make informed decisions regarding their sexuality and use defensive techniques/skills in cases of attempts of sexual abuse
The girls had variety of activities which combined both theoretical and practical sessions; Sex Bargain Tips was exciting session. Girls played roles of boys and developed skills which enabled them to be at equal par with boys. Using self defense skills and techniques in case of sexual abuse was handy. Discovering and experience one of the five water towers in Kenya-Cherangani Hills was awesome. It was a total experience the girls will never forget
