Thank you!
Dear Listeners,
Thank you so much for your dedication over the last month. You have become a part of an amazing journey that has just begun, and wouldn't have been possible without your contributions!
I hope that the women who have applied for this program, and their stories, have touched your hearts and minds.
To those of you who have helped us with the extra evaluations over the last few weeks, thank you! And to those of you have chosen to become Editorial Midwives, I look forward to continuing to work with you.
Thank you for your generosity of spirit and time,
Rachael

Hi Rachael
I have been without internet at home for almost a month now, and it has been a bit hard, so I must have missed your invitation to become editorial midwives.
Is this invitation for all of us? If so, please tell me how to do this, as I would love to become a midwife.
Thanks to you dear for all the work and the light for Voices of the Future 2010.
Hope to see you in person soon!
Love,
Jackie

Hi Jackie, I am so sorry I
Hi Jackie,
I am so sorry I missed this message earlier! It has been a very hectic week. We have already chosen our midwives for this year, but I would love for you to be one of our informal mentors for this year's VOF Correspondents! I will be sending out a message shortly to the VOFCN group.
I so wish I was going to be in the US for your trip this year, but hopefully we will get to meet some day in person soon.
Hugs,
Rachael

It has been a pleasure
Dear Rachael
It has been such a great journey so far. I joined World Pulse without much expectations, but this community has become a part of me today, and you all need to be thanked for that. Being a listener has been a complete new experience here. Last year, it was us who were being listened to, and now we are listening. It has been a very fulfilling experience. Thank you for involving us in the process. We feel more part of WP now.
Like Jackie, i too am not sure if you sent out a formal invitation to be editorial midwives. I dont know if I qualify for the responsibility, but i would like to contribute in any possible way in the further process.
Thank you

Dear Khushbu, Thank you so
Dear Khushbu,
Thank you so much for your participation in the Listening process this year, it made the process so much richer to have VOF Correspondents from last year.
As for Editorial Midwives, we did send out a formal invite many weeks ago. Thank you for your interest, but we've actually already chosen our 30 for this year. But definitely think about applying next year! I am also going to be asking Voices of Our Future Correspondents Network members if they will serve as advisers for this year's Correspondents--and will be making an announcement about that shortly!
Kind regards,
Rachael

I missed it
Dear Rachael
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I missed the part where you have announced the call, and I am regretting it. It was an incredible opportunity to get up-close with the correspondents, and use the skills i gained during the program last year.
Anyway, I am ready to help in any other way possible.
Thank you once again for the great work you are doing.

Merci Beaucoup
Thank you! It was a great education for me to be involved in VOF. Reading all the amazing stories was very inspiring to me. Just knowing that all these dedicated people are out there working for a better world is comforting.
I am not a journalist so I did not apply to be an Editorial Midwife but there are also other opportunities with World Pulse, such as an online volunteer that I am sure many people would be interested in.
I am looking forward to learning who will be chosen to be part of the the VOF program and staying involved.
All the best,
Amy

Thank you
Dear Rachel,
Thank you for all your support and encouragement throughout the VOF listening process. I thought it was well organized and enjoyed being a part of the process. I hope you'll keep us updated as the contest continues.
I saw on your profile that you live in Barcelona. I'm planning to apply to several MBA programs there for next fall and would love to hear what you think of the city. I assume you're already swamped with job responsibilities, but would love to hear your thoughts on living there if you get a chance. I visited for a few days in 2002, but don't have a good idea of what it would be like to live there.
Take care!
Laura
