Our empowerment programme- 'Train-Coach-Mentor' Project aims at empowering Girls (and young people) from difficult communities including girls from poor homes, girls living in rural communities and physically challenged girls.

Currently, 20 girls have been trained in Alajo-Accra, Ghana and 30 visually impaired girls and boys at the Akropong School of the Blind, Ghana . Read about our trainings here-

The second stage of the project is pairing these girls and boys with mentors and life coaches who are willing to support them morally to achieve their goals and execute their social change initiatives.

girls empowerment

Most of my project focusses on girls empowerment on Reproductive and Sexual Health, HIV/AIDS and Life Building Skills. These skills helps young girls develop confidence in themselves and empower them to make good decision. I have some power-point presentations on life skill. I also have a module on it. Is something you can also impact on them. I can share my materials with you if you need them. I also serve as a mentor to girls i train.

Dear Gifty and Sunita,

I always believe that girls are investment to the future of the world.
I started to focus to this group after deep considerations to several condition and its analysis that touching girls means prevention; due to they have just started growing. Older people have certain reluctance and curative is always more complicated, not to mention the payoff of certain custom or habit.

I am willing to join the mission; we have similar siprits to what I am doing in Indonesia
I was involved in children education voluntarily since I was 16 years old; and performed it for about 15 years. I gave up due to I was occupied with my own children, medical personel and government official.
My heart is still there, so I go back since early year 2010 to put focus on gender and poverty, especially for girls/adolescent. They all have the right to health and right to development; let's help them..

Please assist me more to your distance programme
Wish you all the best!
