Back from Hibernation

Applying to be a Voices of the Future Correspondent last year helped me locate my voice and express it through writing, However, almost predictably, I stopped writing when I discovered I was not selected to be a Correspondent.
I am often, easily discouraged, and am too quick to believe the worst about myself. Paradoxically, I am also as resilient as an elastic band, and have bounced back from disappointments and tragedies innumerable times.
This is one of those times. I recalled the joy of being able to de-lurk from solely reading blog posts, and commenting on them instead. I decided that volunteering to be a Listener would be a perfect way to engage with the voices of amazing women again, and be inspired to stretch myself once more!
So, here I am, world. Watch out!
