You are never too old to set another Goal or to Dream another dream

When I was a little girl I always had a dream to see the beauty of the world, a dream to see the beauty of living peacefully under the protection of central government, a dream to see a world free from violence, a dream to see gender equity and equality in the entire world, a dream to see women partaking in the decision making, still I have it in my heart and will always keep it there until I see it turned into reality, and to fulfill my dreams I had to make thousands of friends across the world despite their differences in color, culture, Gender, religion, status and so on. We should always have dreams, sooner or later it will definitely turn into reality.

Although I am a member of many social networks and they are resourceful and user friendly, Worldpulse is totally different, once you see other women sharing their stories and experiences you feel comfortable to share yours too and that desire drives you to be more proactive to interact with others and feel as if you are a member of a big family. Here in worldpulse you can get people whom you share the same vision and you exchange ideas/experiences and build strong bond.

Its funny if I tell you how I joined this amazing and resourceful social network and you will gonna love it. One day I left one of my social networks open and I forgot to logout, someone posted a response to one of the discussions using my user name and here comes Jade Frank telling me she posted my response in my journal at worldpulse and I can use it a link she gave me, at first I was so confused and was wondering who did this and what Jade meant when she said “I posted it in your journal”, I signed up and had a quick look at it but it wasn’t the same as the other networks, there was that desire in me that persuaded me to keep me log in almost everyday until it became my passion and interacted with those wonderful friends.

Although still I don’t know who used my user name but all I can say is that it was a “destiny” for me to be part of this wonderful family, you will never know what God has in store for you, though I don’t know that person but I always thank him/her for what they did because if it wasn’t that response I wouldn’t have been here today, sometimes I convince myself maybe it was an angle God sent it to me. Interacting with other friends they advised me to check out the groups and join the ones I like, when I saw VoF at first I didn’t know what to do whether to apply or not, then I convinced myself maybe this is a good idea to learn and applied, I am sure it will help me in many ways since I always dreamed of writing the actual stories behind the scene.

Dear Maryan, thank you for

Dear Maryan,
thank you for your journal post. It was wonderful and inspiring reading through it and I really enjoyed it.
I think we all have the same dream and maybe we put it into different words but the dream is one: and you got the essence of it. I keep on dreaming and never stop and as I realize we are all lifting our voices through the VoF and through the worldpulse network. So it is a matter of time I think, that things will change.
It is amazing how you got to know worldpulse. I think it was really destiny in form of an angel sent to you by God that gave you this advice. And I thank this angel and destiny that now I can read your post and enjoy it.
Thank you
Peace to you

Hi Maryan,

"In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream". I love this quotation of MJ. I sincerely believe in dreams. And I am so glad many of us here on World Pulse have the same dream for a better world.

Pursuing Your Dreams

Hello Maryan!
I'm one of the listeners for your Week Two assignment and I enjoyed reading how you became a member of World Pulse. Yes, it does seem like “destiny” or "an angel" played a part in your journey! I loved how you shared your positive vision for the future when you said you dreamed of “a world free from violence” with “gender equality” and “women partaking in the decision making.” However I was hoping you would talk about how World Pulse and, specifically, Voices of Our Future can help you pursue this dream. In your next two assignments I encourage you to share more of your personal experience as an underrepresented voice in your country, as well as examples of your leadership abilities, so we can learn more about you. Also, as a technical matter, be aware of the word count limits on your VOF journal entries as this assignment slightly exceeded the maximum. Keep up the good work!
Your friend,
Valerie

Dear Maryan A dream to live

Dear Maryan

A dream to live peacefully!! that's what i dreamt of when i grew up in intense armed conflict zones.. Yes we have women across the world and you can make your dreams turn into reality "a dream to see the beauty of the world, a dream to see the beauty of living peacefully under the protection of central government, a dream to see a world free from violence, a dream to see gender equity and equality in the entire world, a dream to see women partaking in the decision making". Never give up! believe in urself and go forth!!

Dear Singmi, Then you must be

Dear Singmi,

Then you must be experienced and know more about the importance of peace. armed conflicts is the worse thing to happen within a nation, people die, others suffer from trauma or other violence while others survive, they get less respect from others when you go to some places and believe me there are some places when you wanna go you have to use another identity because you cant travel with your own national passport, how tragedy it sounds huh. the game has begun there is no giving up nor turning back i believe its just a few steps away turning that dreams into reality, and thanks for the encouragement you inspired me more.

Peace and love,
Maryan
