Women Advocacy:Walking the Talk.

Years past,Issues of women empowerment have been on the move-from equality to equity,Domestic Violence to mainstream politics, affirmative action to single parenting. These issues have come as a result of huge conferences yielding so many excellent results mostly on paper.

Have we as a creation sat down a minute to wonder how our talk affect the average woman who sells 'koko' and 'koose','purewater' and 'soko dua' in the scorching sun.In my country that is Ghana, there are so many talking going on yielding a lot of paper results-the bills turned into laws and all the policies.I still ask myself 'are we walking the talk taking the average woman into consideration?'.Does she know about self empowerment and is she willing to be empowered domestically and politically.hmmmmmm ,food for thought.

I am new here but i will be registering myself here with exciting stories about women, walking the talk and women and politics .There are so much to share,EXPECT MOI.
