Cooking is awesome.. it can be tiresome and make me feel like i am slaving away but at the same time.. there is something liberating and soothing about it.
The mixing of herbs and juices and ingredients...
Stiring and mixing, chopping, cutting, grating, whisking, pounding
The pounding that releases energy and uses up some of that which we pent up
The checking, tasting and patiently waiting for the outcome.... mmh
The food whose aroma gathers the household... or the mere gratitude that fills us all that we have something to eat.
That is why food is a right... the out come is beneficial but the process should also be a creative and empowering process.
"I think a woman has two choices: either she's a feminist or a masochist." Gloria Steinem
