Web 2.0 is like a beautiful promise for me......

Maybe because I felt that in my world it was so limited, since very little I deeply love freedom, which means to me the chance to elect and to act by ourselves.

That's why the possibility to amplify my elections that gives me Web 2.0 is like a beautiful promise for me about not only to get an enriched communication, where time and distance are just minor considerations, but to give myself an infinite space of possibilities to enjoy more with life and diversity implied in this new world.

I feel strongly that the world that Web 2.0 opens for me is complex and unknown in a way, but at the same time is simple and deeply mine, and there I will find many other "me" to share dreams, experiences, knowledge and feelings. Maybe the most challenging part will be to show, using the resources that new media give us, the deep human connection that binds us;but I love the challenge, because it motivates me not only because the possibility to know more to the others or to myself, but also to know more about life itself.

other "me"

I love how you conceptualized Web 2.0 as a place to connect with another "me." On the vast network of Web 2.0, there are so many people from so many different places that it can be daunting to reach out. But taking your idea and thinking of those out there as sharing a bit of ourselves makes Web 2.0 infinitely more approachable. It would be wonderful to know what passions you have in your life that can be enriched by Web 2.0 and what solutions you might be seeking. As you say, Web 2.0 can be deeply yours, so it will be exciting to see what you make of it over the next several weeks!

glad you're here!

Congratulations on taking that big step and entering the VOF application process, Mariarosa! Isn't it wonderful how in a place like this we can feel free to be and share our true selves? I would love to hear more about you and how you are using the Web, how your life possibilities are growing as a result. Thanks for writing!

infinite possibilities!

I am glad to read your essay. Thank you for taking the time to share yourself and your ideas with others. I look forward to reading more from you as you grow into the space provided by web 2.0 and share your unique gifts and voice. What miracles will happen when meet "the other" with our authentic self?

Christine

Against the channel reduction -typical of this communication way- through your comments regarding my little essay I can appreciate the wonderful human beings who you are.

All the best for you,

María Rosa
