A girl with no Identity!

Tags:

This is a story of a beautiful young girl; seeking for love…see in her entire life so far she has never known or experienced love. How it smells, tastes, looks, feels and even the sound of love. True love can be felt with our five senses you know?!!

This young girl, her entire life has been the one of desperation, seeking to attach herself to anyone or anything that looks like love, even if she is to find a counterfeit of it will suffice for her, even for a short moment, for her to have that one relieving sigh!

This young girl; she has eyes but she has never been told how to use them, so she is blind while she sees; she has a heart but she has never been told the use of it, so she does not know how to sieve what should go in and what should stay out of her heart, she has got legs but they ever take her to wrong places and she can’t even tell a difference, she is so used to bad odor that her mind has tricked her to believe that’s the best smell ever, her ears are so used to hear she amounts to nothing that she no longer bother to know if she has any value at all, she has no privilege of good food so for her as long as whatever she puts on her stomach is not poisonous anything goes (this also applies to thoughts she feeds her mind with), she is so used to bad weather and abuse in her body that she has lost her sense of feel, her skin has become thick as a rhino and she allows whatever to touch her, saying to herself internally, who will ever notice?!

This girl is almost invisible, so close to you but you will never notice, and the moment you will she is already destroyed, slowly vanishing out of this planet earth without any recognition.

This girl carries so much potential and all that she needs is someone to hold her hand and say: you are special! You are unique! You can do more than what you think you can! And you are born with a purpose! Regardless of how mean life has been to you as long as you know you have value you will emerge a champion!

This girl is still waiting to hear you say only that and be there!

You see, this girl- her heart is still so innocent, because much of what has been done or is being done to her was and still is neither coming out of her own knowledge nor her own consent, she is being imposed to so much and she knows no impact of what she does or being done to her because of her child heart.

Would you reach out today?

For a girl abused, a girl child soldier, a girl in streets, a girl prostitute, and a girl in child labor, an orphan girl, a girl in poverty and a girl seeking for a mentor.

They are all around you; if you choose to look , you will notice!

What a beautiful story, that

What a beautiful story, that not only teaches me on who I need to reach my heart out to but teaches me on who I am and how I define what an innocent heart it. We need to truly see people for who they are and not what they do through the profession or their mistakes. As my mom always told me you should never look down at some one unless you are willing to help them up.

Thanks for the words,

:)

Your Mom is a wise woman Carri, because that is sooo true, there is so much happening behind the faces we see, only if we have time to listen. You know it's like someone saying "How are you ", when i was a kid i thought they real care and wanted to know how i was doing, the moment i will prepare to tell them they where long gone...:(

We real need to reach out, and one doesnt have to be rich or extra ordinarry to do so, it take compassion and care which i believe sit at a core centre of a woman's heart, and its one person at a time.

I am because we are :-)

Beautiful!

Hi Abella,
Thanks for posting such a touching story. It's a reminder that we can all offer compassion, comfort, and strength to women and girls standing right in front us. Sadly, there are too many women in the exact situation you describe. Maybe you're right - maybe the first step is simply to open our own eyes and notice what's happening around us. Then, we will be able to offer a more sincere helping hand.
Best,
Jenn

If we look deep within us!

Hi dear,

A friend of mine once told me;' in our similarities we find each other and in our differences we grow', i did not get him then but now i understand, there is power in unity...so if as women we have gone through same issue then it is our strenght to share various experiences, to have one mind that searches for our own solutions. Also even if our experiences are different is even better because it is in our differences that we learn so much and grow together and learn from each other. So simiral or different we still have advantages to bring the change we all so desire.

It takes each one of us just reaching one person per day, a step at a time then before we know it , it becomes a movement with many around us, supporting us; because at the end of the day if we really look down deep within us , we all have something to share that is unique to others regadless of how similar our situation may be.

Blessings.

I am because we are :-)

Well said

I like the sentiment behind that our similarities bring us together, and our differences help us grow. And, yes, one step, one moment at a time, creating momentum, starting a movement. Keep on keeping on=)
