And, at the end of the mentoring exercise, she emerged Best Mentee with cash gift from VitalVoices.
Due to uprising poor performances of Nigerian students in the West African Examination (WAEC) Tosin founded the Resource Sharing Network (RsN) in 2008: a not-for-profit, Youth-Led organization which is set out to improve the academic performance of students in Secondary Schools, and to restore conscientiousness to school work and activities amongst young people. The program provides a platform for learning through a mentoring scheme, Coaching Classes, Career Talks, Leadership Programs, Ethics, etc. RSN is affiliated to A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace - www.rsnnigeria.blogspot.com. Tosin is a passionate lover of young people and firm believer in their unique potentials regardless of their disabilities, religion, size and color. She has been coordinating a Mentoring Programme for disadvantaged youths since 2009 till date and thus far, she's been able to pair students with young professionals as mentors and organize FREE Career Workshop for Students with their Parents/Guardians. She is also, the Program Administrator of Young Professionals Impact Foundation a non-governmental and non-religious organization interested in making a positive and lasting impact on the society through education intervention initiatives, most especially on children in need, in orphanages, hospices and abandoned children.
