Dear World Pulse

Let me honestly say " Thank you thank you so much to give me the great opportunity which I have never thought of before, "Even the introduction stage of Web 2.0 makes me feel highly excited .Through my passion I have been reading many wonderful profiles and felt theirs courage and proud to be in their friend list and to have them in my friend list. I t is definitely impressive of you to help women talk about their feelings through Web 2.0 .Halima's victory is globally approved. Although it is quite difficult to choose the most exciting area from the Web 2.0 , because everything looks exciting , what excites me most is to have a chance to invite all women here to organize a world powerful women group through Web 2.0 social network .
Please allow me to stat it now. I would like to invite all women to march to the UN to have a place for forming a Women Security organization. I strongly believe that we don't have time to wait for the men to protect the civilians. The recent Congo ugly massive rape is the proof. They failed to protect the innocent victims. Dear all women. we have witnessed and heard this kind of scandal crimes globally and locally through our life and we will all ourselves fight against such dreadful abuses and crimes through women power and authority. I felt terribly awful when I knew about my neighbor's 8 years old daughter's death soon after 4 weeks hell rape by two evils. The first evil sold her to the next and did the same torture. She was saved too late and died. Another victim was 15 years old and she was raped to death .She was found in the bath tub with several knife cuts on her female sex and killed by drown in the bath tub for her last breath. You cam imagine how cruel it was. Similar abuses have been found on the train. near the stream and even in the house in many places. Now it became a bigger threat with Congo rape case. I am positively sure we can eliminate it if we can establish a world wide international women security organization . Sympathy to same sex suffering is more powerful than just a perspective of responsibility. So let us march to the UN with our voice for women authority for safer women community. We shall never stop until we reach the absolute women empowerment .I feel strong to join World Pulse for this journey. Comments from all women are highly expected.

Let us all be united!

Women and Public Policy

Ten years ago, in its landmark Resolution 1325, the United Nations Security Council called for women's full and equal participation in all elements of peacemaking, and for prevention of this kind of sexual violence in war. But implementation of this historic resolution has been too slow. I want to encourage you to continue pushing forward.

Your anger and frustrations are obvious! The world can't wait another moment to address the brutalities you refer to. World Pulse is indeed a great network to help you to organize and channel your efforts.

Just prior to reading your story, I had posted on this platform information about a call for applications by Harvard University in the US. They are offering a PhD fellowship for a candidate interested in international security with a particular focus on
 issues relating to gender.

I have read your assignment. My heart goes out to all women who have suffered from this abuse. You are right something has to be done about this. Women should not have to go through this .......

NI NI AYE's picture

You made me feel stronger!

Dear Aburch3

You really made me feel stronger and I can feel your sympathy to the victims. I am so proud of you for your success and commitment.. It's great to be in the US with freedom to do any good. I have known something encouraging through IVAWA which I joined online last week that you can send a letter to your representative to pass the bill of violence against women and girls worldwide before the congress breaks for October recess. I would be very happy if you can do it for all of our security.
You sound you like mediation and so do I. But sometimes I think I need to control myself if I feel the situation is unfair. So I hope better solutions for safer and fairer world. So glad to meet you Aburch3!

With Love

Web 2.0

Dear Ni Ni Aye,
When I read about the abuse and death of your neighbor's daughter and that of the fifteen year old you mention, I shuddered. I had known about the horrific situation in the Congo, but I was unaware of the situation in your country. Thank you for enlightening me. Your idea of marching to the UN put a smile on my face. When I was just out of college, many years ago, I worked there and I could just picture the women of the world marching up the steps...what a strong image that is!
With warm regards,
rozjean

Dear NI NI,

Thank you for your post - I had the honor of reading your first assignment and am touched by your passion and drive to secure women's rights. As painful as it is to hear the stories that you've told, it is important for the world to hear them and we need a voice like yours to bring the world into action.

I'm happy to hear that you have already begun to make friends through World Pulse and that you have taken time to read their stories as well. I look forward to reading your upcoming posts!

Best wishes,

Feel Warm Relations

Gear Alison

I am so glad that you reached and feel my message. And I believe we can find better solutions through our cooperation for our safer environment and warm relations internationally.

I am also glad to know you are master of IR which I would like to know more about in addition to my lessons. I am very interested in it and last two weeks ago I and other seven students were supposed to do the presentation about US politics and British Politics in two groups. We were very enthusiastic and excited for the presentation and well prepared. But . it was canceled because of some possible risks. Although we can understand the situation. It was quite dis-encouraging . I hope we can make long lasting talk among us starting from this place.

Sincerely Yours

Big thanks for friendly voice

Hi Alison

You sound very friendly. I love it. I am so happy to meet you. I felt so excited when I was reading about British Politic and wished that all my people knew it. I will try to do it in another way as much as possible. Now it seems to apply or adapt Federal State system here very soon and I wonder how similar or different it is. If you have time ,could you let me know some key points? I am curious about it.

See you online.
