Welcome my dear friend and sister!

This is our Worldpulse, where we are all people who share the same stories, and it is so sad that the stories are similar...one way or the other and I even come to agree that not only because we are unfortunate, it is because the world is so unfair to all. This is our community of genuine friendliness, where we are free to tell our stories without inhibition, where we are happy together and feel the sadness of those who are going through lives challenges...it is up and down!

Please be free to share and join in our discussions, it is a free world here we are one, this is where it applies. From global issues which we see through the eyes of women to personal issues which we all feel we are a part of, please share and this is a safe community, be free to connect to women and men worldwide and do not forget that there are various opportunities you can tap into on Worldpulse, take some time to browse through our site.......

Thank you olutosin

The fact that you have responded with such a warm welcome has made me cry...a joyful release!

I had woken up this morning after introducing myself to the world pulse community last night in one long ramble and felt that I had been too open! I also feel guilty because I am aware that my story, although painful and frustrating to me, is not so extreme as the horrors that so many women are experiencing right NOW in various parts of the world. But such is the need to talk and make contact with others who share similar stories! I think that is something important for all of us.

Thank you for giving me such a warm welcome. I look forward to exploring the world pulse website further, and discovering ways that I might be able to contribute.

Thank you for giving me and the world community a voice,

And for giving much needed hope,

World Pulse is doing an amazing job!

Lyn.

Honest to the core

My Dear Lyn, An Indian woman I had been so drawn to these days said Olutosin, you are honest to the core, and this I borrowed today my dear Lyn, you are honest to the core, I came to Worldpulse in tears, with several intimidation from every angle, I was consoled and I passed through my healing stages here even till this day, I still tell my stories and I am empowered daily, I joined with no self esteem, I worked where I will say I was unappreciated but today I am happy I am here, I joined the band of women passing through the phases of life and learning as they go...I will really love to hear your voice loud and clear....I LOVE YOU BABY....You are here, make the most of it.......Let it flow and let peace settles in.

Discovering Loving Care...

Today I systematically scoured the journal posts, and went on a bit of an emotional roller-coaster journey! I got as far as the D's in the alphabetical list, and if I'm honest, as well as realising that there is much here to be inspired and encouraged by, it was also increasing my sense of isolation and difference. I was almost ready to give up on this website. (I will write about this later).

But then....I was uplifted again to receive such warmth from your voices, olutosin and fatwaz. So welcoming, and quite unexpected.

Reading your such loving words, olutosin, ...it's difficult to describe the effect. I have not received such kindness and encouragement for some time. I feel understood. I feel seen. I feel recognised. I feel empathised with. I feel encouraged. I feel your love. I have felt so alone olutosin. The fact that you have somehow cut through layers of my hardened self protection and reached straight through to my heart, tells me that you are indeed true...honest to the core.

That you recognise my honesty, and have shared your honesty, your loving heart with me, speaks directly to my heart. This is very powerful, and very beautiful. I am crying alot, and it hurts, but I know it's where the healing is. I feel strangely held in comforting arms. You have obviously come through many stages of healing from your own experiences to be able to do this. You truly are a remarkable woman.

I cannot thank you enough olutosin.

I have so much more yet to discover on World Pulse/Pulswire, but this is a remarkable beginning for me. Within 24 hours of joining, fatwaz and olutosin, you have both already made a positive difference to my life.

Question

Ooops! It has just dawned on me how public this post is.

I had read the terms and conditions, but then got carried away, and now feeling not quite so brave!

I'm so sorry I am taking it down and will write something else soon, (but I'll save the content in case I feel a little braver sometime!). It is perhaps better anyway as a journal entry rather than an introduction. Are there any privacy settings that I've missed?

Sorry!
