Introducing myself and my journal: Living in two worlds

About Me:
I am a 34-year-old media and development professional, currently working in an NGO focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Being mother of a 4-month-old baby girl with an ambition for career enhancement, i am finding it hard to find the balance between the two domains. I also find it challenging to accept the different realities of the various worlds i navigate through... some of the examples include the third world i was born in and the first world i spent two years of solitude while studying for a post graduate degree... the professional environment in which people frequently use development jargon and the home environment where i cant raise the issues i work on... between the world of Shia relatives by birth and world of Sunni relatives by choice of spouse...
