Hey Ammamma!
Ammamma, my dearest grandma
Beloved Amma to my Ma
You lived beautifully
And left peacefully
But you'll remain with me forever
For none understood me better
You taught me objectivity
And that failure is but a passing cloud
Everyone admired and adored you
Girl, that made me so proud!
You were progressive and adaptive
And always aware and inquisitive
People cherished your company
Lady, your were so lively
With your singing and talking
Burping and teasing
Listening and discussing
Smiling and joking...
Darling Ammamma of mine
You are simply divine

Dear Pushpa, I don't have
Dear Pushpa,
I don't have words that can express the beauty and deepness of your poem. Really phantastic and touching: written from the heart with heart.
Great poetress! Compliments!
Thank you.

Beautiful
Pushpa,
You brought me to tears with this poem. I saw my grandmother pass away peacefully last summer. She passed away in her home as she desired, with her loved ones present.
We were one. Truly, she was like my mother, and I another daughter to her. I was closest to her. To process her death and to keep her in my heart, I have a diary and I write down random memories of her that pop up, or I write letters to her to let her know how much she is missed and loved.
I will send her this poem.
Claudia
