Introducing myself and my journal: Gentlewomen's Strength
About Me:
Dear World Pulse
I am a teacher from Burma and this is my second time to during three days this week. Last Thursday I tried to join your group and I finished up to this step. However , since this is my first registration online without a supervisor and I couldn't go to next step because of technical problem.I wrote about my problem to you through this website and I was waiting for your reply. Since I haven't seen any reply , I try this second effort and I hope this will not reject my application.
Please let me try for second time before it is too late. As I mentioned above, I am a teacher from Burma and I have teaching English for more than ten years from the beginner from to the higher intermediate level among children and adults.I have working mostly part time jobs and I have also been doing voluntary teaching. When I teach I love encouraging my students doing discussions for finding causes , effects and solutions to let them be aware of several issues. Although I thought II would be a teacher forever, I became a logistician with MSF Switzerland for one year during Nargis emergency project.Because strongly believed that was necessary to participate in such situation. After the project was terminated I went back into my teaching field to continue my life time job, I suppose.
I am very interested in humanitarian activities and international relations . Therefore , I have visited some camps to cheer them up and help them. And I have been attending Diploma in International Relations at Yangon University and I have been aware of several issues through my lessons and I am very keen on finding solutions sooner or later. When I found out about this training program, I felt great to get more ideas for gaining achievements.I will cross my fingers for my application.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours Sincerely
NI NI AYE

Coward Attack and Delay Responsibility
Dear All,
I am so happy to be welcomed by friendly community. I feel full of warmth. Now I have got one more place to talk and listen to about terrible issues and finding ways through our discussions.
Now I would like to talk about an experience. I have been living in a women hostel for over a couple of years. since my family members moved to different places. Most of the women in the hostel come from other small towns for their jobs and attending development courses. One year ago, a girl who was 19 went to her computer class. The center was center of the city and it was on the forth floor. When she was going up on the stairs someone hit with a stone on her back and she was injured on the back of her right ear. When she looked back, she saw a men running away. She was so panic and run to the center and talk about it crying. Some people tried to find him but they didn't find. Another problem came up. This was just her second day at the training center and she told the people from the center that she didn't dare to go there any more and she asked for refund. But they refused to give the refund. As much as I don't know about the business very well but this was not normal as they could refuse before I suppose. So I talked to that person for the girl. She insisted that was not their responsibility for the attack and this happened because of her earnings. They also said they would call the police because that girl made their center bad reputation . I was so annoyed that to the conversation heated. I insisted that only their irresponsibility will make their reputation bad and i would also sue them for that. She became silent and I hanged up the phone. But next morning she came to the hostel and gave her the refund.I am not sure it was a right way to get a refund or not. But I was so glad that I could speak for the girl to make her happy. She was not the only person faced that kind of attack I heard. Therefore I believe it is necessary to talk against any violence.
Looking forward to hearing your voices.
Sincerely
NI NI AYE

Hello NI NI AYE :-)
I got introduced to Burma in 1888 when I met some lovely teachers who where studying in University of Leeds, UK. I was also introduced for the very first time to "green tea" - I must admit I do love green tea these days.
I just had to write to you to re-connect with Burma and in hope we become friends. I joined this network recently and am learning a lot. Welcome to WorldPulse :-) Cheers, Amei
Invitation for green tea

By the way I think I wrote comments instead of replying to some who gave me warm welcome. I just clicked COMMENT and didn't notice Reply. Now I would like to copy and paste to reply. I hope you don't mind this explanation.

Please don't change my beautiful flag
Dear All
I am happy to see my flag here in World Pulse . I have tried to arrive here in time the hole day and it failed at the first time because of connection cut. Now I m glad that I can reach you in time. Today our national flag was changed but I on;y love the previous one. I don't know how the other countries change their national flag . Here the new national flag appeared unexpectedly and everybody I heard from don't like the new one , even the children feel the same..
Now World Pulse is the only place I can see my beautiful flag. So I am very grateful to you if you kindly keep it here longer . Thanks.
Yours Truly
NI NI AYE
