Something Urgent needs to be done in DRC

Hi everyone ,this is my very first posting and i am so excited .Well i am writing this article on the plight of women in DRC.I happened to be in South Africa last week when i had the opportunity to meet gender activist from DRC.I am still in shock from the stories i heard from those amazing women.Some of the details seemed to be from the horror stories we watch on TV and to think that life continues as usual while all this is happening beats me. Thank you for your post on DRC. I thought that nobody would be interested in raising awareness and bringing the condition of these women into knowledge.
