I've never heard of World Pulse until an email this morning from one of the mailing lists - Pacific Women (PACWIN). It is very encouraging to read about your stories from around the globe - some could be worse off than what we face in our country, while others are similar.
I am happy to know that such a group exists and such an opportunity is available to let women's voices being heard!
I look forward to learning and networking more with all on the site - to know that we can not speak alone - and not be heard but as a group and speak out to the world together.
In Papua New Guinea, internet access is very limited or is non-existent in our rural areas - and there lies great potential out there of women who are , in their own capacities doing as much as they can to assist their respective communities. It would be great also to bring together their stories and share to the world and make them aware of such opportunities that can assist them. As technology is improving slowly but surely - we hope that pretty soon, all remote areas will have some access to these services to assist in the development of the communities..
Thank you once again for this opportunity - will be encouraging more woment to partake in this also.
