Hi Everyone!

I'm so excited to see so many new faces from all over the world! Welcome to our community. And, to those of you who have been here for a while, I'm glad you're eager to apply for this year's VOF program and share your voice with the world!

Here are some helpful links for everyone to have in their tool-kit as we proceed with the program:

2010 Voices of Our Future Listeners Group: This is the PulseWire group for Listeners. These people will be reading and evaluating your weekly assignments, and helping to select the 30 Applicants who will become Correspondents.
Voices of Our Future Program Page: This is the home-page for the VOF Program. Here, you can meet and learn more about the 2009 VOF Correspondents, and their Empowerment Mentors. There is also a link to donate to the program on Global Giving!
Word Count Tool: On this page, you can copy and paste any text to find out how many words are written. This will be important with your weekly assignments, as each piece will have a word limit.

More links will be added to this page as we move ahead on our journey together, so check back often! If you have any questions, please feel welcomed to ask them here.

Thank you for the precious information. I found it very helpful that you use a Word count tool because I use to get lost in many words and long sentences:-).
I took a look at the other links you provided before and found them really interesting and fascinating. I am so excited about this experience that I hardly can wait for the 15th September to come.
