Introducing myself and my journal: Idea Garden

About Me:
Based in Ferndale, Mich., I've been a freelance writer since 2004. I received a clinical massage therapy certification in 2005 and hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Albion College. I've played sports forever and know how to be part of a team of women. I believe that there is a certain magic and power that transpires when women come together with a common goal. My days of intense competition are over, so I am constantly finding new activities and channels for my energy. I am excited to give some of that positive and creative energy to World Pulse.

My Passions:
Health and Wellness, Community, Music, Dancing, Reading and Writing

My Challenges:
Health and Wellness, knowing my neighbors, Writing

My Vision for the Future:
A new Detroit that is full of urban farms, gardens and smart transportation

My Areas of Expertise:
Thai Yoga Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, growing tomatoes

I love your picture :) I also love that you are an expert at growing tomatoes. I especially enjoy biting into a fresh tomato that is picked on a hot day while the cicadas sing in the back ground (I'm from Missouri, do you have cicadas where you are?).

I am very excited that you are excited to share your positive and creative energy here! World Pulse is a great place to connect, share, inspire and support! Let me know if you need any assistance connecting with people and/or groups.

I look forward to reading more about yourself and your journey!

Much Peace,

Oh yeah. We have cicadas! But

Oh yeah. We have cicadas! But definitely not as many as you. I've been camping in Missouri and actually had trouble talking to the person next to me because they were so loud!

Funny you mentioned that, because the journal entry I just posted mentions cicadas:) Tis the season!

Thanks for the welcome:)
