My Vision for the Future:
Empowerment for women in my community
Welcome to PulseWire! I am so happy that you are part of a community that cherishes your voice and encourages your vision for a better tomorrow. Your knowledge and ideas will be inspiring others through your writing and service to this community. I am so sorry to hear that you are degraded by your community for being a single mother. It is a shame that we don't support you and show love to you, due to the fact that being a mother is a challenge and a lot of work that needs to be admired by EVERYONE! I congratulate you on being a single independent mother and look forward from hearing from you!
Carri, thanks for welcoming me to PulseWire.,iam really excited to be here-i hope to contribute alot to women in my comunity,my country and the entire world
Welcome to PulseWire. We are thrilled to have you as a new member in our thriving community of grassroots women leaders and supporters of women's initiatives who are lifting their voices in the name of empowerment and connecting across borders to make positive change for women everywhere!
I hope that you will share more with us about the discrimination you face as a single mother in your community. Personally, I feel the opposite. I have so much respect for single mothers. The single mothers I know are some of the strongest and most motivated individuals I know. In sharing your experience as a single mother, you can help us understand the issues your face in your community and the work that needs to be done to bring about change.
Also, I hope that you will join us in our community Action Blogging Campaign - Ending Gender Based Violence: http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/programs/action-blogging-campaign-gbv
In partnership with the Man Up Campaign, join us in saying NO to gender based violence. Tell us your personal and observed experiences of violence against women, in any form. Share your ideas and innovative solutions and use your PulseWire journal as an instrument for change.

It is true that all over the world, we as women face extra challenges as a single parent. I admire the dedication and love you must have as a mother, and your resolve to make things better for people like yourself in Kenya.
I hope World Pulse is a place that can help you find what you need.
