Introducing myself and my journal: A view from somewhere

My name is Najma Sadiq and I am from Pakistan. Currently I am doing PhD in Communication Science from University of Salzburg, Austria. My area of focus is media, war and conflicts. I like to do research on the coverage of sensitive issues to explore that when mishandled how can they affect the society. Working in this area for a woman is not a very common notion for a Pakistani woman but I like to break this trend and to work in this domain.
