Thank you!

Dearest Correspondents,

Warm greetings to you all! We hope that you have had the opportunity to review the latest VOFCN module, Each One Teach Five. As we strive to create a wave of women’s empowered voices across the globe, your ability and willingness to reach out to other women in your community is critical!

As you know, this was the final VOFCN module. Over the past four months, we have covered a mountain of material! We hope that you now have further tools and resources to continue being champions in your communities.

From the entire program team, we would like to thank you for your hard work, your beautiful spirits and strong voices. All of us have immensely enjoyed working on this project and staying connected with you. We hope that you continue to be active on PulseWire, telling your stories and sharing your successes with us.

So, what’s next?

VOFCN has so far functioned as a post-VOF group connecting you with further resources to help you on your journey as citizen journalists and activists. With the launch of VOF 2010 this fall, we envision VOFCN will become an alumni group of current and past VOF Correspondents. As graduates of the program, your unique insights and experience can provide encouragement and support for current correspondents. We hope you will be interested in continuing to participate!

World Pulse is also working on the development of our Global Correspondents Network (GCN), which will serve as a pool of high-caliber writers from which the Editorial team can turn to for stories. More details about the GCN will be coming later this summer, so keep an eye on your inbox!

We would like to ask you to fill out a short feedback survey on your experience with VOFCN. This shouldn’t take long, no more than 15 minutes, but your feedback will be invaluable for us as we move forward. We are planning on rolling much of the information you have received in VOFCN into the content for VOF next year—and knowing what worked for you and what didn’t, will be very helpful.
