New features and feeds on

Hi all:

Just wanted to highlight some new features on

These changes's aim is to begin the process of making us a resource and information hub on Haitian women and media even before having started our media initiatives in Haiti. These changes were within reach for us because of all the free online and social media tools that make it easy to aggregate relevant content. We hope they will facilitate the promotion and implementation of our mission and goals.

* We now have an aggregator of Haitian women bloggers. An aggregator is a feed collection that allows for reading of various blogs with a common theme in one place. In this case the common theme is the Haitian descent and gender of all the blog authors, whether they live in Haiti or abroad.

(A preview of the agg is available live on under "Recent blog posts for Haitian women")

*We have also added the following lists in the right side margin on

**names of Haitian women bloggers with links to each of their blogs.

**names of women allies who write/blog about Haiti.

**names of orgs/groups that work with Haitian women.

*In the works are a potential feed of news about Haitian women and reconstruction and an aggregator of "Women on Haiti."

Please provide as much feedback as you have and do not be afraid to be as candid as needed.
