Working for Women's Health

I'm a Colorado woman with an interest in international women's health issues. I'm currently seeking a partner group to help support distribution of educational videos about childbirth, breastfeeding and other health concerns that will support women in rural areas worldwide. The company I work for, InJoy Childbirth and Parenting Videos, is based in Niwot, Colorado. They have offered to supply resources to create culturally appropriate materials in partnership with another agency. I hope someone on this site might know of a group that I can contact to make this happen!

culturally sensitive teaching materials

I'm also in Colorado (Denver), and I'm currently working with MSF to develop culturally sensitive training materials for national midwives in their projects. I will be getting a pattern for a soft pelvis model that I've heard can be taken to a local tailor and be made for cheap and easily and be of use for training local midwives in third world countries. When I was in Darfur I found it very difficult to make educational materials without the talent of being able to draw pictures that reflected the women we were serving. I would love to explore this project with you further.
