May-June
Hello Book Lovers!
I wanted to touch base and see what you are interested in reading in May and June. Any suggestions?
I heard "A Woman Amongst Warlords" was phenomenal (thanks Katherine). Both Starland and Nusrat highly praised "The Case for the Exploding Mangoes". Sunita just posted a fantastic write up about Shirin Ebadi, a powerful Iranian woman leader, who was awarded the "Nobel Peace Prize". The book sounds incredible!
Darcey posted recently that she read "The Blue Sweater", which I've been very curious to read.
What about you all? What are you reading? What do you want to read in the future? Have you read a great book lately? Do you want to share and suggest a book with our book community? Please do! :)
Wishing you all good things,
Jody

Hi Jody
I am currently reading Half of a Yellow Sun which is very good and I have The Blue Sweater and Returning to my Mother's house here to read next. A Woman Amongst Warlords in on my list to order after I finish these. However, if that book is selected, I will bump it up.

good reads
I had not heard of The Blue Sweater so I went and looked it up. It sounds like an amazing book and I would love to read and discuss it with other women.
Another good read is Adventure Divas by Holly Morris. My husband got it for me for my last birthday and I enjoyed it a great deal. It features some amazing adventures and some amazing women. I've been wanting to go back and read it again.

Any of the above
A Woman Against Warlords is on my list as well, as is Ebadi's Iran Awakening. But I would be happy with any of these choices.
