Introducing myself and my journal: Being a multiracial, first generation college student in the US
About Me:
I am an american college student and among the first generation in my family to ever attend college. My father is an immigrant and my mother's grandfather also immigrated here from the Philippines. I am very proud to be so multicultural. Currently I am studying sociology/anthropology in school!
My Passions:
Helping the oppressed and underrepresented populations, communication, meeting new people.
My Challenges:
Listening to my own voice and finding confidence to do the things I desire.
My Vision for the Future:
Working for the marginalized and representing those without a voice.
