Searching for World Pulse Ambassadors!

On April 27th in Portland, Oregon, World Pulse will be hosting the first in a series of intimate salons and events across the nation that will culminate in large 2011 Global Connection events. More than events, these powerful "experiences" will connect local and global networks of women worldwide. We are proud to kick off in Portland, the city that gave birth to World Pulse. At the event, we will give thanks to our incredible founding community of supporters and celebrate the rising global leadership of women across the city.

In these exciting upcoming events, we are aiming to activate women share the power of PulseWire with our guests. Introducing them to a member of our community (that's you!) will be vital in making this happen. If you are interested in acting as an Ambassador for World Pulse and the PulseWire community, please answer the following questions and post them in your journal:

1) What does World Pulse/ PulseWire mean to you?

2) What brought you to World Pulse? And what has been your experience on PulseWire?

Please limit your answers to 100 words or less per question. We will be printing your statements, along with your username, profile picture, and country flag, on a card to be handed out at the upcoming events - some for the event this April, and some for use at a later event date. You may be contacted by a new friend who receives and reads your card!

Use your personal PulseWire journal to write your answers to the above questions and use the tag PulseWire Testimonial to submit your story and represent our global community of grassroots women leaders.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Ayobami,

As a Voices of Our Future Correspondent, you are already an ambassador for World Pulse. This call-out is for learning more about PulseWire members so that we can create a representation of our amazing community for an event here in Portland. You don't have to "do" anything, besides answer these 2 questions in a the form of a journal entry. We will print your response, along with your profile picture, username and country flag, on a card. These cards will be distributed at the Portland event in April, so that our founding community of World Pulse sponsors can get re-connect with our growing community and get a personal and intimate feel for the incredible women they can connect with on PulseWire. So you may be contacted by one or two women in Portland, who were moved by your story.

It's not really an official title - "Ambassador", but a way for PulseWire members to share their story with our local Portland community to represent World Pulse.

I hope that answers your question!

I'm just a man

I'm just a man, who was concerned to see the condition, the reality and suffering that must be experienced by women. Calculate how many percent of these people who have important positions in various countries. In fact, the majority of these people more in various countries.
Should poverty and ignorance is a barrier for them, to develop and work?
Should the two inhibiting factors that will be a legacy for their children and grandchildren?

just came across this post

Greetings Jade & the PulseWire Community,

I just came across this post now so I am a bit late for the event. However, I so appreciate and support the work World Pulse/ PulseWire that I’d like to respond to the questions anyway. I am updating my journal with my responses.

Best, Sally
