About Me:

My main activity is visiting cruising sites and other places to meet new contacts who are MSM or transgender. I provide information and education about HIV and STI and how they are transmitted, give advice on safer sex behaviours including demonstrating and distributing condoms and lubricant and take people to our drop-in centre for more trainings. I explain the risks of unsafe sexual behaviours and arrange for people to visit our STI / VCT clinic for testing. Based on my personal experience and training I have received I provide counselling to my contacts to help them deal with the stigma, discrimination and other challenges they face in daily life. In addition, I am also involved in awareness raising, orientation, advocacy and human rights activities which are aimed at reducing the stigma and discrimination which makes it so difficult for MSM and transgender to live a proud and dignified life with equal access to all essential services.
