New Deadline for Fellowship Application

Greetings!

Today is the last day for fellowship submissions. However, due to the incredible value of this fellowship and what it could do for your own growth as a leader and the growth of your organization or social entrepreneurship, we have decided to extend the deadline.

Let's fill this group with the true breadth of the PulseWire community that represents the variety of exciting initiatives that grassroots women leaders (that's you!) are doing to empower women and change the world!

It's simple to apply:

Write an essay (400-700 words) that describes your work as related to the theme: Empowering women in your community as a means to ending poverty. Be sure to include your organization's name and mission, and also share a true success story that demonstrates your organization's accomplishments. If your organization has a website, include the URL (web address) here as well.

The new deadline for your submission and to be considered for the Cordes Fellowship to the 2010 Opportunity Collaboration in Ixtapa, Mexico is March 31 at 11:59 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time).

I encourage you to apply! And also spread the word to other non-profit leaders who you think would benefit from such a great experience.

Thank you to Busayo Obisakin, Elisa Sabatini, Subhadra Khaperde and mamaAfrica for applying!

Ooops

I'm sorry, the original deadline was March 25, not March 22. But, we ARE still extending to March 31. Also, I meant to write 11:59 pm, not 12:00 am.

I am blaming this mistake on the slowness of Mondays! Hehehe.

So, please note that the new deadline for the Opportunity Collaboration Fellowship application is: March 31, 2010 at 11:59 PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Apply today!

Hi,
I would like to apply to this fellowship but I am not currently working because I am a graduate student. However, I will be graduating on May and I have a great interest working with women and I want to start connecting with people who have the same passion as I do. Can I apply for this fellowship even though I do not belong to any organization?
Best regards,
Gamesamac

Fellowship Opportunity

Hi Gisela,

Thank you for your interest in the fellowship. Unfortunately, the guidelines indicated by the Cordes Fellowship whom we are working with to provide this opportunity, strictly indicate that the chosen fellow be a current non-profit leader or social entrepreneur.

However, there are many other exciting fellowships and opportunities that you may be qualified for. I suggest taking a look through our Resource ExChange as a good starting point.
