Introducing myself and my journal: Our Phoenix Project

About Me:
I own a environmental and socially conscious distribution company in Toronto Canada. We specialize in consumer goods such as stainless steal water bottles, organic body care, etc. I'm passionate about bringing awareness to humanitarian and environmental issues that are effecting our world. I believe that education is the best way to make progress and create long lasting change. I heard of this site from a book I just completed called "Half the Sky" by Nicholas Kristof ad Sheryl WuDunn, I am looking forward to further educating myself through this site.

From Toronto...

where i stayed most of the time,i visited London Ontario over Easter and also Vancouver where i was excited to meet four great women from the World Pulse Team and a baby, including the founder,Jensine.I also visited the Meuseum Of Anthropology while in Vancouver.

In Toronto,i got to visit the Art Gallery of Ontario...hmmmmm i would love to live there :>) , attended an opera, watched a movie, visited several organizations and yes...i loved loved it.

I would love to hear more about your work. Here people mostly used plastic bottles for water.I was brought a stainless steel bottle fron World Pulse as a gift and everybody thinks it's lovely! We need innovative women like you for I can't wait to hear more from you on environmental cleanliness.

Asante.

Leah.

Leah, That is amazing that

Leah,

That is amazing that you were able to visit both the East and West coast of Canada. I so glad to here that you loved it!

Yes, a lot of people drink with plastic bottles here too. I think it just takes time to get people to get used to doing something different then what they have grown accustom too. I am a firm believer in education. Telling someone to do something vs. explaining the benefits to them gets more results. I'm sure that people in your life are more curious and more likely to try and/or use a Stainless steel bottle then plastic just because of you.

I'm going to post my business website on my profile, however if you'd like to see more or would like any information about bottles or otherwise please let me know. I'd be more then happy to answer any questions you may have.

Many blessings,

Sarah

Wishing you many Blessings,

Sarah
