I GOT THE $10,000 FELLOWSHIP!!!!!!!!

My dear Rafikis,

I am still shaking with the amazing news I got five minutes ago. My student and I GOT THE FELLOWSHIP of $10,000 to conduct the summer health camp in Lunga-Lunga, Godo, and Perani. That means that Kelsey, my daughter Sofia, and I will be in Lunga-Lunga mid June for the preparation of the health camp before the launching of the Mama-TOTO Mobile Clinic. This fellowship also means that we will be able to pay a local nurse to work with the Mobile Clinic for the entire year.

These $10,000 are dedicated to ALL Rafikis, the abroad Rafikis for their big hearts, and the Kenya Rafikis for opening their lives to us.

With JOY (and still shaking)

Sorry to write you so much dearest Lin, but I need that letter of support from Project Africa to apply for the purchase of mosquito nets for 200 families in the three communities. Have you received my emails? The letter is due this Friday. I've worked very hard with the application.
I'll wait for your news.

Feeling happy to see this news. Hope you will do a fabulous job.

Best Wishes,

I'm new to the site and am enjoying everything I am learning. I was excited to find your site and learn of the grant for your work in Africa. You and your students/daughter traveling with you will be immeasurably blessed by this experience! (As I'm sure the residents will be to have you there helping them.)

I'd like to know how everything is going there.

Thanks for sharing!
