thank you

Hi Sharese,
I am very glad to have women support around me. I am interested in women health and children health because my personal experience. My mother was a single mother in Nicaragua and I thought that was very tough at times for my mom to take care of my sister and I on top of everything else. Now that I am an adult, I can relate to all those women in this world who have so much potential but they are not giving the opportunity for them to flourish as I would like to see them. Thus, I decided that I want to dedicate my career toward helping women and children to overcome barriers and I am hoping that with my training in Public Health and focusing on education I will be that catalyzer for those voices to get louder if you know what i mean. Please connect me with other groups because my passion is working in remote areas where women are trying their best to overcome barriers to provide for themselves and their children. I am currently looking for job since I graduated now I am very eager to find a job where I can be that catalyzer.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Much peace,
Gisela MS

My new job

De parte de Canta Mujer to all of you women!
I graduated on May with a master in public health. I am currently looking for job and it has been a great experience. I am confronting the reality that in the U.S the most powerful country on this earth is providing to its own citizens. I am confronted with the reality of the economic struggles that all of us minorities women are experiencing in this nation. The hardship of not finding jobs and feeling powerless because the forces of those in power are only focusing their solutions on militarization and continue a war that cost every minute $ 5000 to us tax payers when this kind of expenses could be spent for more health, education, and jobs. My job now is looking jobs. My journey searching for a job is a revealing experience for me to grow and become stronger to confront my own revolution to continue learning about other women stories and their experiences looking for job in the U.S as professionals that we want to become ally for those voices to get louder. Even though at time I get frustrated, the more I apply to jobs I see a light of growth and evolvement for me to continue strong to represent women and as a minority women to be proud of my achievements and eager to find a job that I will exploit each minute to be a catalyzer to weaken the oppressors. With all that say! I am proud of being a woman and ready for this long journey is just one more.
Much Peace,
Canta Mujer! Canta
