At World Pulse, we recognize that leadership comes in many forms----both on the ground in your local communities, as well as online in PulseWire’s global community. Are you a leader on PulseWire?
It's exciting to have you here and to learn a bit about you. Hopefully you are enjoying becoming a part of this global community.
I have a friend who supports CSA. She has had a subscription to a local farm for some time and loves it. This is something I have considered as well. I would love to better support local farms. We try to buy local as much as possible but it's easy to still rely a bit on produce that has traveled thousands of miles. Thanks for sharing your love for CSA with us! I am getting more inspired to take the plunge. I know I function better when there is structure; I just need to sit down, plan it, then own it!
I appreciate the inspiration. I look forward to seeing more of you online and hearing more of your voice (especially in regard to CSAs)!
Nice to be greeted by you Maria. CSA is known as teikei in Japan. It literally means putting a face on your food - in that you know who grows it. I love the sense of community that I get from participating as well as the health and environmental benefits.
