A Wonderful Day

I thought you all might like to see my photo of Busayo with Jensine at a recent event in New York that I was Oh so lucky to be able to attend.
It has been marvellous to meet with Busayo in person. She is an astounding woman and I feel very privileged indeed to have been able to share her company, if only for a little while, during her visit to New York this past week for her Empowerment Training.
I met Busayo last thursday, at a lunch downtown. Teh lunch was hosted by Gail Straub, and attended by eleven of her friends and partners in helping to make this program and training possible. Jensine Larsen, four of the VOF Empowerment mentors, Lynn, my mentor who I met for the first time that day, Amy who is Busayo's mentor, Taur and Yvonne, Board members and more. Everyone was incredible.
Later that same day, at another event in Uptown New York, I also met Janice and Jade!!! Surprise!!!! It was so incredible, so lovely. They were both so incredible and so lovely and I am afraid I was so overwhelmed I don't think I said anywhere near as much as I now wish I had done to thank them both. I hope to be able to see them again another time.

Thanks for posting these great images of Busayo and Jensine. It was amazing for me as well to meet everyone in person. Again... I wish I had more time to sit and talk with you. I didn't realize at the time that we wouldn't have a chance to meet up again while I was there. But just to see your sweet face in person and connect physically with one of my favorite writers on PulseWire (you Tina). It was just a great opportunity to draw inspiration from incredible visionaries and solidify my conviction of the great work that we're doing together!
